One stat comes from an independent peer-reviewed academic journal

The lower stat comes from a far left Labor union representing teachers

It isn't really that confusing

Ahhh, okay.

Perhaps it's because for several decades now we have taught girls and women they are immune from the consequences of even the most count-like behavior, while simultaneously teaching boys and men they are worthless pieces of shite the world would be better without. Just thinking out loud here.

90% of all teachers are female, so this sounds about right.

Where could you legally drink at 18 in the 90’s?

That’s pretty unbelievable. The only reason I can think of is that males are often the brunt of the chastising when it comes to that type of behavior, so maybe they have learned to behave better. Women haven’t had that conversation.

Only thing that would make any sense to this is that it’s some sort of teaching type of aspect that creates excitement for them.

Not sure what else they would get out of it

Louisiana. They finally capitulated to get federal highway money around 1994/5 I think. That sure fixed them up right!

The kardashians have ruined majority of females in today's society.

Louisiana, which had previously allowed 18-year-olds to drink, reluctantly complied with the federal law in 1986, raising the drinking age to 21.
Loophole and Subsequent Events:
Initially, a loophole allowed bars and other establishments to sell alcohol to those under 21, but this was closed in 1995.

My friends who turned 18 in 1994 were pissed. They could drink in bars in 1994, but suddenly couldn't in 1995. They had to wait two more years until they turned 21.

I would love to see a physchiatric work up of these teachers to figure out what the hell is going through their heads.

Just good old fashioned horny. They seem to act on the impulse and it's usually with a kid under 18. And that's where the problem comes to play. Textbook sociopathy.

Allow me to insert my professional medical diagnosis:
-Not enough intimacy at home.
-They hate their husband which 9 out of 10 times is their fault and this is some kind of show of revenge in their mind
-A little bit of a midlife crisis perhaps

I absolutely agree. Or, they are one of those forever needy people…i need of constant validation, but since they suck, they can only get it from kids who don’t realize they suck.

Yep, a lot of that comes from pre-teen or teen rejection.

I wonder what the difference between the studies is.

is one a survey and one a review of criminal cases?

I imagine male teachers molesting kids get reported more often.

all involve reported cases

One is a peer reviewed academic journal

The other is the teacher's union

The union is more likely to fiddle with numbers
