Deaths always lag behind a couple weeks. The majority of these hospitalizations have come in the last 2-3 weeks. I guarantee we will start seeing daily deaths reported far exceeding the 105 high. It's about to get a lot worse.
Of course you think so.

Look at the graph from my link. The worst actual day was 4/5/2020 and it was 74 deaths on that day. Right now, we are maxing out in the mid thirties. We aren't even halfway there and are already starting to see the plateau.

Like that poster used to do.

They'd be stacking bodies at the morgue chest high if they was dying 100 a day. Guess what. They ain't. This data is preposterous and shame on you people for believing it.

I never believed that 93 people died YESTERDAY .. I don't do twitter and there was no notation on the dashboard. And what the "media" will do is report it as 93 deaths since yesterday. I do totally realize it's not.

Thread title does make it sound like 93 were reported just today.

Yep. There was one poster keeping the daily tally and another who was backlogging for us so we could see where the cases were coming in from and when. He could also tell us how many presumed cases were still active with that data and it gave us the best indicator when peaks were taking place. It was the best source of information and the best way to know where and when the peaks were coming. You'd think the state would want to keep that info available to everyone but it was bad PR because it proved lockdowns and masks weren't stopping shite and the downturns were coming whether they took extra actions or not.

Right. He was keeping the tally and making the threads. But it was another poster doing the math. He didn't post every single day, but the work he was doing with the data TSEC2010 was providing was by far the best information we could get on cases/deaths/hospitals.

Did he win poster of the year award? He freaking should have.

Would it seem reasonable to take the last 2 death totals given and just divide by 4 since 4 days worth of data. Obviously not perfect and doesn’t count for backlogs but might give us a closer approximation
This is where I’m leaning. Use 7 day average deaths per day to measure, that would seem to give some flexibility, and not have to watch the clock exactly.

A mask wouldn’t have helped him. But at least you’ll
Get another juicy story on how patients are now begging for past selves to get treated and you’ll be able to smugly say “It’s too late”

Out of roughly 3,500,000 people in the state?

I have nothing to worry about. I only eat McDonalds and Popeyes 8 times a week and I played high school football 20 years ago. I am healthy. Will not let mask mandates stop me from from breathing free American air while I smoke my Camels
