There was the Elise Street bridge over the canal that they extended West Napoleon around (and took the bridge out altogether), that was a fun jump. There was a track jump at Little Farms St. (I think that was it) that was extreme and messed up my friend's dad's VW van. There were a bunch of others but I can't remember where. It's been a while.

The peak 80's magical moment was the pool scene in Fast Times and Ridgemont High.
