8 Americans were killed in Medellín, Colombia the last 2 months from dating app dates.

The deaths are believed to either be forced overdose or suspected homicides, and though they are not believed to be linked according to the State Department, several "involve the use of online dating applications."

There’s a guy who posts here, who lives in Colombia.. he says it’s a great place to date hot women, but i dont know, it seems like there are other places with beautiful females that might not be quite as dangerous.. plus I dont speak espanol .

I went to Spain by myself many years ago and the easiest way to meet people was tinder. Before I went to a new city I'd select the location and literally swipe right on every single profile, hundreds of them.
Not sure I'd do that in S. America.

This is post pandemic vacationers (remote workers, bachelor party crowd) getting drunk and or drugged and robbed of laptops, phones, etc..via tinder OR night clubs.
