At least her arse isn't wider than the aisle like most far past their prime flight attendants.
She's old enough to probably have screwed hundreds of pilots and customers over the years. You know she used that cooter well, or she'd have gone long ago.

Only a US airline would employ such a worn out old hag as a stewardess. Nothing but gays grandes and grannies slinging drinks and peanuts in the unfriendly skies. Flew on EVA a couple of years ago and the first thing I noticed was the stewardess were all attractive and fit mid 20 to 30 year old women.

I could see this one going either or both ways but I am kind of leaning towards the old lady's story as being more truthful.
FA's undergo quite a bit of annual training and can be subject to surprise testing by FAA officials (this is usually planned but surprise testings can happen). They have to have their FAM (Flight Attendant Manual) with them and they are quizzed on things in it (they can use it when quizzed). They are fined for every question they get wrong and cannot work another flight until they pay it.
As FA's are primarily women and gay men (there are some straight men doing the job, but it's uncommon), the envy and shite-talking factors against someone like her could be sky-high, even if she's the nicest, sweetest person in the world.
Being able to arm/disarm the doors isn't an accusation, it's a legitimate and instant disqualification for the job. Were she proven to be unable to do it, there would be no need for the bitchy stories of "a missing milk carton" or "she was sleeping", etc.
My wife was a flight attendant for over a decade so I speak with a little bit of insight.
