I'd be more inclined to agree if it was an early game, but you have plenty of time to go vote. Not everyone is setting up a tailgate and drinking at 9:00 am

Even if you are you can still vote before that.

481% higher in the St. George area compared to the rest of the parish. It's definitely bringing people to the polls.

I think this can be attributed more because of the LSU-Florida game being on the same day the election is. And a 7:00 pm kickoff. Everybody wants to be tailgating all day.

Agreed... and I would think most of the people tailgating would tend to support St. George.

Plus... early voting is where it's at. Vote when you want over a week or so. That's why having the last governor debate after the end of earl voting is so stupid.

Nah, it's almost entirely because of St. George being on the ballot.

If elections fall on a major LSU home game that I want to get an early start on tailgating...then I just don’t vote. This year St. George was on the ballot. So I voted early.

I hadn’t been to the polls since 2008, but I went early this past Saturday to vote. Specifically for St.George incorporation. So there’s that.

The Florida game is also homecoming. More people will be on campus early for events like the parade etc.

I think the game, homecoming, and St. George are all pumping up the BR numbers.

I cannot wait to see SG pass with flying colors.

I hope that Lipsey piece of shite goes bankrupt and spends the rest of his life kissing Broome's arse for pennies. He has absolutely shown his arse and true colors in the last few months. The flyers they have put in people's mailboxes should be criminal they contain so much bullshite.

This is bad news for JBE as well as 70% of those voters aren’t voting for him. Meaning he will need to get more votes in order to break 50% and win outright.

That’s why I said he was an idiot for making the St George election the same day as his election.

Maybe he has inside knowledge of voter shenanigans that will take place surrounding the election.
