At what point is the shut down not worth it?

Right now.
As of this moment, 100 people have lost their job per every one death.

So you already knew the precautions to take before the CDC knew?

Man Roger, you're so smart. So much smarter than anyone else.

This is what pisses me off from the medical crowd demanding we stay home. Millions...millions of people, and families, have lost their jobs. Lost their income. You don’t just shut down everything. The costs associated with it are astronomically high. What are the suicides associated with job lost since March 1?

Take protective measures sure, that’s smart. However, using the full force of the government to make people stay home, losing their livelihoods, over something that is a blip on our current death rate? This is shameful. Protect those most at risk, tell the rest to get back to work.

A depression will affect millions more than this will.

I don't think you understand that.

You think the economy won’t be affected, especially in the South, if we just open things back up and this stuff spreads like wildfire?

Ignorance is assuming the economy isn’t effected no matter what you do at this point.
