How bout YOU hunker down and the rest of us will decide our own risks and fate?

I meant treatment. Not necessarily a vaccine

40k people died from suicide in the Great Depression. That'd be rookie numbers if it happened again.
Over 48,000 committed suicide in the US in 2018.

You should take the blinders off and look at the big picture.

The American population has more than doubled since the Great Depression.
Its also likely that reported numbers from the 30's are much lower than the actual numbers compared to modern days.

That's what I've been saying in all this. People getting laid off should have made better choices in life. Sad.

Less poor than it would be with potentially 2 million dead and the virus continuing to linger making the majority of people wary of patronizing businesses, anyway.

Ergo why I said Depression numbers would be nothing compared to if it happened today.

Can you tell us what state otherwise we will assume you are referring to Louisiana.

Always nice to see the token concern of people re: suicide rates and 'compassion' for workers. Reality is most of you people making the 'but the economy' argument only give a shite about yourselves because you probably oppose other pro-worker policies like raising the minimum wage, universal paid sick leave, etc.
