A Black man died of asphyxiation earlier this year after Rochester police officers trying to take him into protective custody pinned him to the ground while restraining him.

quote:

The incident occurred in March — two months before George Floyd's very similar death in Minneapolis touched off nationwide protests — yet it didn't become public until now.

quote:

The curtain was lifted on the death of 41-year-old Daniel T. Prude at a late-morning news conference Wednesday at which Prude's family and local activists called his death a murder and demanded that the officers involved be fired and charged in his homicide.

He was on life support, so yes and no.

Just another example of government abusing power, and trying to hide their mistakes.

ETA: I see a lot of people who love an abusive government. Turn your red, white and blue in. Communist countries may be more your speed.

Was he a criminal that was resisting arrest?

BTW cz, I'm still waiting on this Declaration of Independence shite that you were talking about to be explained.

I loved how the Mayor admitted in her presser that she was suspending all 7 officers AGAINST the advice of counsel.

That’s code for be prepared to pay out taxpayers of Rochester at her political gain.

Muh votes and the things people virtue for have gotten way out of hand.

It was a spit hood and he was blasted out of his mind on angel dust. They dug this up from months ago.

The media is the enemy and just trying to stir more shite up. If we can all breathe through masks this guy could breath through breathable fibers

Only question I’ll ask:

Did he comply?

If being naked, trying to break into cars, and telling cops he wants their guns is complying, then yeah he complied

The government must not enforce law and order against black people. That is white supremacy.

Prude was placed on a stretcher and into the ambulance, where he was given shots of epinephrine and sodium bicarbonate, and soon after, his heartbeat returned on its own, according to a police report.

But of course the cops killed him

He was high, dangerous, and spitting (why they used the mask)

Of course the media needs to rally the troops for more unrest right now though. Notice a trend yet?

From now on everytime someone starts a cop killing a black man thread, I"m gonna start 5 threads on cops killing whites, maybe 3-4 of cops killing Hispanics.
