Teachers have a difficult job. I get it. They chose to be teachers though. They can suck it up and get their asses back to work like everyone else. The 5 month vacation is over.

You really trying to change your statement?

That chart shows the US is squarely in the middle. So please, AGAIN, show me where we are "almost LAST" in EVERY category

Should be more nervous about facing the angry, uncontrollable students who don’t want to be in school and not being able to do anything about it!

, are you always this ignorant? Dude said US is last in everything and we clearly aren't. You obviously must have learned how to read in the US.

I guess this group doesn’t care to see that there have been ZERO transmissions from students to teachers worldwide . Not a single one.

Wrong. Israel had many confirmed cases of students and teachers becoming infected after reopening and had to close schools again. A large South Korean study indicates children under 10 years old do not transmit very easily but those older than 10 transmit at a rate similar to adults. But scientist will tell you there is still no clear answer to how contagious kids are.

Jesus. frick off. You're too fricking stupid to engage. I have twice now shown you the data to support my claim. I did it with one article. If you have something other than an online poll put out by U.S News and World Report to support yours, we can try again.

Until then, enjoy facetiming children for a living.

So, you giving up? That easy?

Where was your chart for almost last in every category? You haven't shown anything that supports that.

90% of teachers are easily replaceable, every survey ever says.

By who? Do you want to take a pay cut and teach a bunch of 5-18 year olds? I know I don’t.

A lot of teachers are lazy fat asses. It’s hard to put them all in one bucket though

Our private school teachers are probably around 90% wanting to teach in person. They miss the kids and miss their co-workers

Do you see the people protesting in the streets these days? Teachers are trying to teach the same kids in Portland that needed their mothers to defend their right to protest.

Maybe finishing above those countries IS an achievement. Heh.

Can you really blame them? Terrible parents who don't discipline or teach their kids, and now you want the teachers to be their parents?

Well I’d bet more than that percentage of nurses and doctors were uncomfortable with going to work, but it’s their jobs. So hop to it...

Well my girlfriend is uncomfortable with butt sex but does it anyway because some things just have to get done for the sake of normalcy.

I would think it has less to do with health risk and more with new procedures for some. There are some who are probably at risk for health issues, so I get that. But I look at some of the CDC guidelines and think that could be enough to force a career change.

That’s without getting into the pay argument. But most teachers know what they’ll make before signing the papers. The pay sucks but it’s not frugal living.
