Aren't you supposed to grab their back legs so they can't keep attacking?

Someone posted a few days ago that you just ram your finger up their butt and they stop immediately.

They picked the wrong recovering alcoholic. Those people have a nasty disposition.

I wonder if one of those stun guns would work on a pit bull? It seems like it would be hard to get a clean shot with one of those trying to chew your face off.

Sounds like a risky move to bend down and grab their back legs so that they can turn around and bite your face while it is closer to them.

Well, there's the stupidest thing I've read on here today.

Yes, Pits are dogs and just because you have a dislike for them doesn't make them another animal.

Pick them up by their back legs and Hulk smash them until they die. They only weigh 50 to 60 pounds. The trick is if they even let go. Now the cane Corso, yeah, shoot it.

Bear spray is probably better than a stun gun, especially the big cans that make larger clouds.

I can believe 2 pits and a Cane Corso attacked the jogger, but I'm very skeptical of the reported weight of those dogs.

I've had pits in the past and knew lots of people who had pits and almost all of them were well under 60 lbs. with a few tipping close to 100 but were horribly out of shape.

Cane Corso's are bigger framed dogs and I can see them getting 100 lbs. or more, but hardly up to 200 lbs.

But if you’re already engaged that would be risky. You’d almost certainly spray yourself.

You COULD spend months working up a tolerance for bear spray.

Another question. If a pit bull has you by the neck and you hit it with one of those pocket stun guns….does that shock you too?

Really need a white paper on this topic.

All pits should be euthanized along with their owners.

There's a large house on Lake Concordia where the owners let their 3 Cane Corsos out whenever they see someone fishing (from a boat) out in front of their property.

Aren't there gators in that lake?

At the very least, make an effort to rescue the jogger from your dogs. Put your life on the line

Smith spotted the attack by what he says were two pit bulls and a cane corso that each weighed close to 200 lbs.

No don’t think people understand how fricking big a 200 lb dog is.

My corso is 142 and solid, at 200lbs he would be an overweight mess. We've trained the hell out of him to stop on command, but a dog roaming in a pack will do what they want. Can be scary to think because they are such big dogs, that if they choose not to listen there ain't much you can do.
