Do you think front line workers shouldn’t be wearing PPE?

Seems like we’re heading for a shutdown part 2. Whether the populace abides by it is another thing.
I also think no no pays any attention to it and if it doesn't involve a govt entity, nothing goes backward.

One of the most disheartening things about this is how politicized it's become.
To one side if you promote widespread masks you're a statist cuck, to the other if you question the rationale or legitimacy of any of the restrictions, you're Alex Jones.

There won't be a shutdown unless hospitalizations go over 1000. Even then they may just mandate masks or just close bars. There have not been any super spread events in businesses operating within the guidelines.

Yep. Seems like most clusters come from bars. Or parties in homes which wont stop with a shutdown. And its all young people.
This “second wave” is even worse for the shutdown narrative because we are getting young healthy people positive and not sick. The fear narrative is dead.

What’s the point in controlling the spread if no one is dying?

This is very important. If they want to close bars, I get it. But there should zero discussion about reducing restaurant capacity, closing malls and department stores, gyms, salons, etc.

i agree, which is why it's hard for me to hold back on social media correcting people shouting about wearing masks in public they should be wearing them inside moreso. part of that is me pushing buttons, which is a big reason why i don't, but at the same time i know it will fall on deaf ears

well there will be a point where you can't control it and ERs get overrun

The graph will never be skewed that far in favor of cases. The problem is the spreading from healthy young people to old people with bad immune systems.
Maybe those folks should avoid contact as much as possible if they are concerned.

You said they can’t control it unless things are locked down
So I’m asking you if you think ppe & washing is useless.

PPE isn't useless, especially for HCPs who may be literally inches away from large viral loads while caring for positive patients
do you mean PPE for the public? it has uses but i think we may be telling people the wrong things
i don't think washing hands helps as much as we initially thought. i think the aerial delivery is the primary delivery system
