So 550 out of about a half million college athletes... about .0011%
This is what news has become these days thanks to social media
That number is statistically zero but now since every loser has access to spreading their opinion worldwide we have to act like 550 people signing a letter is a big deal.

Why do young Americans care so much about trans rights? I just don't get it.
Exactly. They don’t have a (middle) leg to stand on.

More than 550 college athletes just sent the NCAA a letter demanding it remove championships from states passing or considering anti-trans bills targeting youth sports

It's time to pull the plug on sports.
It's turned in to nothing but social justice bullshite.
You know what the best part of the early days of covid was? The lack of "sports" of any kind. high school, college, pro, youth, beer leagues etc. Really forced us a country to focus on whats really important. Kids, pursuits, hobbies, family.
All the stuff going on around sports now that its back is actually making me want to go back to not having it at all. Because, really, what did we miss?

Interesting that women are signing this letter, as they are the ones that would be impacted.

Superstraights are the only truly oppressed group. They are the only ones being banned from social media.

I would put my house up and bet that out of those 550 more than 90% is made up of softball and women’s basketball

What a perfect example of how dumb college aged women are. Literally the group that will be having their opportunities removed from them by biological men, are advocating for it to take place.

Except nobody as a whole did that. All we did was degrade and spiral out of control to our ultimate fate even faster.

What is that, about 5-6 football teams?
I would tell those athletes they are welcome to not participate in the championships in any of those states.

Transies should be allowed in the WNBA. It could become watchable
All it would require is one semi-decent NBA player who decided to be an a-hole for one season and pretend to be trans and join the WNBA and frick shite up so badly that everyone could see how stupid this all is.
Problem is, no one will have the courage to do this...

The states that pass these laws should then go a step further and add a provision to the law that says no university can participate in NCAA championship tournaments that do not allow for the Championship games to be played in that state because the NCAA bows to these far left whackjob. Let's see the NCAA hold tournaments with half the states not participating. These states can then have their own Championship and tell the NCAA to F*CK OFF.

Alabama wouldn't give up 1941 if a million athletes demanded it.

What do the NCAA football players and basketball players think about it? That's all the NCAA is going to give a shite about.

I myself spiraled into a drunken tailspin of narcotics and obscurity but its nice to think about what might have been.....

Why don't they go a step further and demand the NCAA remove gender classifications? Let the best person win and assign scholarships based on that
That's been my position all along. 100 meters is 100 meters. Everyone starts at the same spot and whoever crosses the finish line first wins, regardless of gender. Can't get much more fair than that, right?

250 were from Cal, 250 were from Duke and the other 50 from everywhere else.

Good...I hope NCAA allows trans athletes.
1. This will have zero impact on current men’s sports.
2. Trans will slowly start to dominate women’s athletics, and once it gets into basketball, whatever popularity that sport had will wane.
3. Women will be back at square one. No ‘safe’ place for them to showcase their athletic abilities. Sports will be ‘male’ dominated, and then we will sit back and enjoy a public battle: women v trans
