I get it. I’m sure it’s a coincidence. Just odd timing.

First and foremost I am very sorry for your loss.

Second, if 48 people, even in a fairly large congregate living facility, tested positive for COVID Occam's razor is clearly on the side of COVID being the COD, especially when an mRNA vax can't cause COVID. If he was the only one to die and no COVID pos test then it could possibly be from the vax as the vax does cause an immune response that may overwhelm a very weak system or be exacerbated by other underlying problems.

My father is in congregate living and had a positive test 8 days after the first dose of the Phizer vax but was very lucky to have only mild symptoms (feeling crappy and a 101.4 temp for 5-6 hours on the third day after moving to the COVID wing) and is waiting for his second neg test to move back to his normal wing. It is likely the vax and his almost certain hundreds of low-level inoculum exposures over the last 10 months helped him immensely.

The COVID deaths right at the threshold of the vax are one of those frustrating tragedies, somewhat analogous to being in the last few people to die in a war.

It's why it's so infuriating how shitty we've been at rolling this thing out. No reason why we can't be vaccinating people quicker.

Some vaccines have spoiled because some states have too much red tape to get through.

So this should bankrupt the makers of the vaccine, correct?

I mean, they were opening themselves up for obvious billion dollar lawsuits by producing poison.

Gotsta have a look at 42 U.S. Code § 300aa–22.

The short answer is you can't sue them unless they don't comply with the FDA or you know put maitotoxin in it for funsies.

93-year-old South Dakota man was injected with the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine on Jan. 4 around 11 a.m. About two hours later, he said he was tired and couldn’t continue with the physical therapy he was doing any longer. He was taken back to his room, where he said his legs felt heavy. Soon after, he stopped breathing. A nurse declared a do-not-resuscitate order.

Seems like they should make them revisit these orders and verify they don’t need any temporary adjustments for a time frame after taking a new vaccine like this for first time. Maybe revisit doing physical therapy within 2 hours of it.

And make sure physical therapist, nurse, and who cleared him as healthy enough to take vaccine (not already sick with something) were not getting anything in will.

Where do you think the virus came from?

Neither the CDC nor the FDA has a central database of reported adverse events. Nancy Messonnier, director of the CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, SAID ON JAN. 6 that severe allergic reactions to COVID-19 vaccines were happening at a rate of 11.1 per million vaccinations, compared to the rate of 1.3 per 1 million flu shots.

You cannot sue vaccine manufacturers at all. They are protected by law.

55 people in the whole US. More people probably got hit by a car in that time, definitely more murders

now do the odds of a completely healthy 35 year old, with 0 preconditions, catching and then dying from COVID-19.... also extremely unlikely?

Curious if you mean that he was around other residents
My Grandpa is in a nursing home but they are not allowed to leave their rooms (all private)

They had 3 staff & 2 residents test positive the week after the vaccine was given

Glad your Dad is going well

Sorry to hear this. Tough illness especially for elderly or others in a nursing home

I don’t get why so many people just focus on death with Covid. You can still have serious issues and survive or just be really really sick for 3 weeks. Most vaccines we take are for things that likely won’t kill us but will make you sick. I don’t hear of people turning down the chicken pox vaccine because chicken pox won’t kill you.

So 55 old people out of over 13 million vaccinated died over the last 3 weeks?

That seems low to me based on normal mortality rates.
