I grew up in a rural area, we'd play on property even when we didn't know who the owner was. I think the worst we ever got from a mad property owner was having to pickup trash in the ditches and pickup some limbs. Kids will be kids, there is a line between making them see why you should respect other people's property and threatening them. Prayers for the kid's family, and for that community. Rural Alabama doesn't scream this going over well within the community.
