50-year old Alabama woman kills 12-year old boy for playing on her property.

I hate to keep reading, hearing, saying, the current state of society is FUBAR but it's gone so far past any reasonable parameters. I don't understand how an adult shoots a kid for playing with his friends regardless of who owns the presumably undeveloped wooded/country property???

Most here have indicated this is an acceptable way to deal with trespassers and people they suspect of petty crimes. I assume they would find her not guilty if they were on the jury.
