5 year old daughter asks world's toughest question.

My wonderful, excitable, intelligent 5 year old daughter asks many questions, like most her age.
Lately, she's really got a tough question and has asked me a few times looking for an answer.
"How did God create himself?"
I don't have an adequate answer for her.
So, anybody have an OT-rific answer I can give her?

He didn't create himself-he had no beginning, he has no end (eternity to eternity -Psalm 90:2). It's more than any of us with limited, imperfect brains can comprehend, including daddy and all other adults. But like other things we can't see, yet still believe in, it's a belief based on faith. What is faith? Convincing evidence, assured expectation of things unseen-Hebrews 11:11. It takes faith to believe that wind is an actual thing. You can't see it, but there is convincing evidence that it exists. Same concept with God

Our concept of linear time and that everything needs creation are rules of perception for our dimension only. The need to understand where did God come from is just a limitation in us preventing us from understanding that God always has been.

Tell her don't spend time on frivolous, liberal arts wondering. All the other kids are learning Algebra and will get the better scholarships if she doesn't get the lead out now.
