Had a a golfing friend travel to Hong Kong during the riots for a product sales meeting, 5 star for $98. He didn't leave the hotel for 5 days.

What, like 20 people died from this? How many die from flu every year? I am not convinced that this is the end of the world stuff.

I got a travel alert from Travelzoo yesterday. 8-day trips to Shanghai and Beijing were running for $299 for flights from LA and SFO. that was hotel, airfare and guided tours for the week.

I’ve heard way too many horror stories to take any of those Chinese government-sponsored trips.

It's probably not close to end of the world stuff if properly contained, but it went from 3 deaths to 20 in a day, so I don't think just dismissing it out of hand is wise either.

That and the fact that the Chinese covered it up for so long allowing it to spread definitely deserves some caution.

If China said 20 people died it probably means they are running out of body bags.

17 dead out of 540 cases. So far a little of 3% mortality rate.

571 people have been confirmed infected with the new coronavirus in China; among which 95 in critical condition, 17 have died

These numbers are a lot more alarming. Quit eating Chinese Cobra idiots
