Not in my 40’s but just turned 30. My goal are to be in better shape in my 30’s than I was in my 20’s, to create some form of passive income, and get my CPA certification. I’ve put it off long enough.

Man, I hope I don't run into you at a dinner party.

Every single early 30 I know tells me this same story.

I had my first one last Friday. It was a surprisingly pleasant experience. The anesthesia, I mean. I have no idea what happened to me while I was out but I had the best nap ever

I’m 57 also and what you said was spot on but I do enjoy all my grandkids. Went my son, daughter in law and my two year grand daughter to LSU game last night, had a great time. At 57 I’m in decent shape but I get sick more seems like and something is always hurting. I can’t wait to retire in a couple more years and travel more

As someone who's 36 and isn't where I'd like to be in life right now, and often ruminate over the past, I really appreciate the message. Have an upvote.

I let me self go a little in my 30s (busy with career and young kids), when I turned 40, i lost weight and got in shape. Ran a couple of full marathons and many halfs. I'm 6 ft 2in and keep my weight around 200lbs now. I really can't get too much into lifting so I mostly do cardio (walk 7 miles/day and run a few days/week).

I had this done a month ago. 6 polyps, 4 of which were apparently concerning because they've now put me on a monitoring schedule where I have to get a scope each of the next 5 years. The prep sucks terribly but the scope is a piece of cake except for the hunger pains.

I'm 57 and looking back, 40s are the best decade.

How has your 50's been? Are you retired? I'm 48 and you're right, my 40s have been the best but for different reasons. My 20s were the best for getting arse and just exploring becoming an adult. I also moved out of NOLA. My 30s were great for starting to travel internationally, meeting my wife and finally finding the career I enjoy. My 40s have been my establishing years. Made more $ than I ever thought I would and plan to retire at 50. Realized all the shite I thought I knew in my 20s and 30s wasn't exactly right but I assume in my 50s I'll think the same about my 40s.

Retired ar 38. Loving life but i have got to get active to fight off all these damned naps. Maybe it's just catching up on the 4-5 hours i got every night the past 20 years.

That's encouraging. Still in my early 40's now, in the best shape of my life and feeling better than I did in my 30's. Finally free to work for myself and not answer to anyone and looking forward to exploring all my options.

My 50s are great too, I'm in excellent health and can do anything a teenager can do. Around 55, i felt a little lower energy (not enough to be low T) and a few more pains, but nothing major.
