I know this dumbass who just had to have the new iphone and got a 24 month payment plan for it. This was like 2-3 months ago, so whatever new one came out was the one he got. Dude don't even got a full time job. Plus apple sucks anyways. what a dumbass.

Combine the fact that people are terrible with managing finances, the increasing cost of living and that we are an increasingly materialistic society, it shouldn’t be a surprise. Everyone has to have the $1000 iPhone. Everyone has to have those $150 Nike shoes. Everyone has to have that car that they financed for 10 years. Too many people are caught up on owning things that add no value.

Yep. Seems more financially responsible to pay around $30 a month interest free than to drop $1000 up front on the phone. But maybe that's just because I'm a relatively poor.
