Just got home a little while ago from surgery to re-attach bottom bicep to my forearm.
Very little pain but the numbness in my fingers from the nerve block sucks.

How long until the tingling goes away?

I did, he said tomorrow, but I'm looking for more exact time from someone who has had it.

You do realize that every human is different in some aspect? If they could have said, your fingers will stop tingling at 9:27am they would have. Fact is that "tomorrow" is as good as you are going to get.

They call it PRACTICING the ART of medicine for a reason. It isn't like working on a car.

2 - 4 days. Usually second day.

There have been occasions where it lasted for weeks.

Milk it for all you can as in "Honey I still can't feel my arm. Would you make me a sammich? Oh by the way, they told me a beer would help flush it out. An MD (MeridianDog) told me it could last for up to 3 weeks."

Probably about the time the crushing pain sets in.

I had a metal plate put into my forearm and they gave me an arm block. I started to feel it the next day.

Did have some slight anxiety that night ("is this forever?", I can't move my fingers and I'm actually trying to, etc).

They all are set to stop working at 5pm. And they are off the weekends, so you can expect the rest on monday at 8am. It will end at 1:37 pm on Monday

What did you do before the internet because you can't seem to do a damned thing without it.

Your going to wish that tingling numbness lasted 10 days once it wears off. I had plates put in my femur and ankle and I went from euphoric to writhing agony in a matter of 15 minutes when it wore off
