Three scientists jointly won this year’s Nobel Prize in physics Tuesday for proving that tiny particles could retain a connection with each other even when separated, a phenomenon once doubted but now being explored for potential real-world applications such as encrypting information.

Frenchman Alain Aspect, American John F. Clauser and Austrian Anton Zeilinger were cited by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences for experiments proving the “totally crazy” field of quantum entanglements to be all too real. They demonstrated that unseen particles, such as photons, can be linked, or “entangled,” with each other even when they are separated by large distances.

I had this happen last week. Had to throw away three sets of perfectly good wired ear buds.

Sounds like a fancy name for a swingers party.

They are regurgitating action-at-a-distance. "Action-at-a-distance is reborn in quantum entanglement. According to quantum physics theory, the behavior of particles can instantaneously correlate with each other even if they are located at great distances from each other, possibly even when they’re on opposite sides of the universe."

I heard Clauser interviewed on the BBC this morning. He's a pretty funny down to earth guy.

Explain this to me like I'm 45 and don't know what quantum entanglements are.

That’s spooky action at a distance to you.

Will they be excreting their own NG from their keisters going forward to run their experiments or is the Nord Stream magically back up?

Like ringing the ole dinner bell for ya aye? It's 2022, just seeing what kinda adjustments we need to make for you here going forward. Would hate for you to salivate your self to death. No worries. We will adjust on our end for your sake. Your kink must be overwhelming you this instant for striking the ole nag repeatedly.<---+slow down Tito, damn! Taking about a hor.... never mind. Your in to deep from the sound of it. Spook me once shame on you, Spook me twice, The Ghost of Jay Z says hello!

meh. it would be more impressive if they worked on Quantum Leap.

PS--is it true the new quantum leap features a China-man?
