Wonder what was the reason. All those shots seem to be personal.

That’s kind of the demarcation line to determine whether it was officer involved or not. This is a bit odd because she is in uniform but it also has to do with what seem to be a lot of non-police related issues.

I believe if you’ll look up the statute it doesn’t state that simply wearing the uniform makes it first degree. I believe on the job or intent to kill a peace officer is a requirement. The charges could change if they find evidence to support the statute. Read up on it to educate yourself.

According to Facebook, the baw on the far right is the boyfriend/babydaddy.

The amount of "yall dont know nun bout this mans he aint indicted just accused" comments on their facebook pages is impressive.

Then do your own research instead of throwing a bitch fit about someone trying to answer your question

quote:

When the offender has a specific intent to kill or to inflict great bodily harm upon a fireman, peace officer, or civilian employee of the Louisiana State Police Crime Laboratory or any other forensic laboratory engaged in the performance of his lawful duties, or when the specific intent to kill or to inflict great bodily harm is directly related to the victim's status as a fireman, peace officer, or civilian employee.

Gets you the death penalty

Seems like a hit. I heard rumblings the investigation was being kept quiet because of some racial aspect, but that doesn't appear to be the case based on the pictures.

I don’t think she was on the job at the time which may make the difference in the charge.

If I recall correctly, she was on her way to work which makes you technically correct...

However, given she was shot several times and once in the head, I have no idea what the rational is with seeking 2nd degree...

I bet all 3 should already have been incarcerated for earlier crimes...

and all 3 were not legally possessing fire arms.

Facebook is wrong. The one in the middle, Anderson, was her boyfriend.

Seems like the media tried hard to make this out to be a domestic violence incident.

I've heard that one of them was a clerk that's a juvenile detention center in Shreveport.

I find it odd that the DA would charge the three Dindus with 2nd degree murder. The murder of a Police Officer is automatic 1st degree murder case, where the death penalty is for sure on the table

My opinion on A few things here. They are classifying her as being on duty because she was on her way to work, but technically she may not have been. If this were found to be the case, 1st degree would be thrown out unless they were able to prove this was a planned hit. If you go for 2nd degree, you have a much higher probability for conviction.

death penalty

I think he wants a conviction... think of who will sit in the jury... do you think they will give a unanimous decision for the death penalty?
