I already know her game plan.

Stay unmarried and collect about $1,500/month for food stamps.

Have all 9 of her kids diagnosed with some disability to collect social security for all of them. $600/month x 9 = $5,400

I'm pretty sure she has some type of "disability". $600/month

Not counting child support. Doubt she knows who all the dads are.

$1,500/month for food stamps
$6,000/month for crazy checks

Oh and let's not count how much she gets for tax returns.....

Drives a Camaro with rims, owns Elmo pajamas, and owns many pairs of Adidas and Nike shoes. What else does one need in life?

I wish reproduction was like driving, a privilege - not a right.

At what point does the damage done to a child's life outweigh the ethically shady aspect of forbidding reproduction? Not to mention the impact on society as a whole.

Well, considering she didn't keep any food in the house for her kids, I'd say she saves a lot of time in the mornings by not cooking breakfast.

It should require a license if you can't afford to support them. Doesn't it make sense to see if I have any money BEFORE you start depending on me.

Sorry Leticia. You can't have a license for the 7th baby until next year. I'm having issues paying for 1-6 right now.

Common sense is overrated though.

I'll try to help:

The women in our neighborhood who have a poor reputation are not only longing for male companionship, they are desperate for it. However, the author deems it unwise for them to openly post advances towards a particular male, when it is common knowledge said male is in a relationship with a female, with whom he has produced offspring. This is especially off-putting when done with the knowledge that said female companion may view said written advances.

Such behavior is rude, and the author (Leticia) frowns upon it, and wishes that said advances, if made, would at lease be done privately, so as not to embarrass her in a public forum.

While reiterating her disapproval for said behavior, the author iterates that she is not displeased with her current mate, whereas the promiscuous communications were not initiated by him.

Also, in all of this, there is some knowledge to be gleaned by the parties.

It's actually a good point about trifling women needing to respect a man's obligations and not put themselves out there for his attention, or at least be discreet if they do so.

Yes, it is. Instead, our government places incentives to have as many children as possible. We will end up like this sooner rather than later:
