The picture on Unfiltered with Kiran, shows red tape directly in front of Red Stick Social (Bengal Glass is directly across the street from RSS )

Good grief. I hope we find out the real story here. This city is getting out of control. Prayers for her and her family/friends!

Between this, recent crime on campus, and the shots fired in Tigerland last weekend, LSU isn't getting off to a great start.

LSU issued a statement:

The LSU community is sadden to hear of senior Allison Rice being killed overnight.

This wasn't near campus. It has nothing to do with LSU

I’ve known this girl since she was 10. Good friends with her dad.

There is NO WAY this was drug related.

These are fricking heartless animals that need to be eradicated

There will very likely be camera footage of this event with the businesses in the area. The police probably already have this and know what happened, but let's see when the full description of the shooting is either released or someone like Kiran breaks it.

The City government is not helping LSU one bit. Whether it is traffic on game day, crime, or strategic planning, Baton Rouge will end up severely hurting LSU in the long term and leadership needs to respond.

Once again I'll wager everything I own including my bird dawgs the shooter should have long ago been locked up and should not have been walking freely among us.

Even without the misspelled word, that's a poorly written sentence.

It says she is a senior marketing major at LSU. Seems important to me? Plus, this is very near LSU, and the Garden District is full of LSU students, professors, and employees. This happened right around the corner by a business that's very popular with college students.

I think the poster is just suggesting that this is out of LSU’s jurisdiction. LSU doesn’t have, and shouldn’t be required to have, the resources to fight crime outside of the area.

Unfortunately, SWB doesn’t give a shite except scoring some woke points.
