Fact. The current clown couldn't hold a candle to Kip. He cared about the city and all of the people and held the police in high regard. Look at Crime rates while he was in office and since SWB took over. Its amazing. I saw a graph posted once in last 6 months and it was wild just can't find it again. I get stopped by the same train easily twice a week. I take the route twice a day, during daylight hours, but also will sometimes take it if I was downtown for dinner/drinks and want to avoid interstate.

Was just looking at her Facebook and thought her mom looked familiar. Then it hit me.
We were in ISDS classes together at LSU in 97-98 when we were about the same age as her daughter. frick this world.
I can't imagine the pain.

Prayers for the family. Some people on this board are beyond pathetic. Why can't they wait before guessing things that are just going to anger and sadden the family deeper. It is called respect. The truth eventually comes out but sometimes never does. A beautiful young lady lost her life to a low life. Finding and locking up this individual will never bring her back.

It is time for Baton Rouge citizens to take back this destroyed city from the animals terrorizing it and running it. .. BY WHATEVER MEANS NECESSARY.
Dumbass Broome and her ilk won't lift a finger over dead white or black people. They do not care. Its time to take a stand. Even if it involves acting "outside the box" . I am not leaving and I am fricking sick of living in an insane asylum run by inmates.

Kip may have had good intentions but wasn't it his administration that pushed for part of Government to be faux gentrified with a median and a bike lane?
Beautifying part of one main street to make it an entertainment destination doesn't address any real problems two streets over and in this case may have lead to a false sense of security among a naive population of college students.

If you do this, and also reference this story as the straw that finally broke it, you'll get accused of pretty white girl favoritism and then it all falls apart.
What you're saying should happen, but if someone goes this route, they'd better pull victim examples from all colors. Then I think this could get some traction from the whole community.
Believe it or not, in the BR hood, there are a lot of hard working black families that are just as tired of this shite too. Yall just need a spark.
