This is the same list as 2005, and it bothers me that the best they could do for replacing Katrina and Rita was Katia and Rina.

Aint unthinkable for one to get spinning north of the Caribbean (where shear will be lower) and make a run at the Gulf. Have had a few, some of them well known, storms pull that track during an El Nino.


The large scale pattern looks to be favorable for Texas and Louisiana but Florida might have some issues. With that said, transient patterns can always pop up and send a storm anywhere.
