Also looks like TRD Pro is offering red upholstery with matching seatbelts.

Nothing I hate more in a vehicle than red interiors.

The only grill photo released thus far is the TRD. The limited and platinum will be less bold and likely chrome honeycomb.

which was the last full sized truck redesign that didn’t look like an uglier, more cartoonish looking caricature of the model it replaced?

2014 Chevy/GMC was a great look that went back to the square body look.

The guy that did the retro paint jobs and rims with them made them look great

I bet the front end of the non TRD Pro model will look like this.

Is there a longbed version?

To date Toyota has always offered a DCLB. They sure are hard to find though. It took me a year to get mine.

I’m not sure about the short cab long bed though. I seem to remember they dropped that a few years ago but. I’m not certain.

DId they just go to a designer and say "make it look as much like a Ram as you can"

Oh, but put a shite power train in it.

That front end looks like shite.

Could they make the lettering any larger? Frick it just make the word “Toyota” take up the entire width of the vehicle.

SMDH.

I’ll be keeping my 2018, thanks.

Longest you can get in a Tundra is a 6.5' bed now. And only with the double cab. I do recall them offering an 8' bed before, but they canceled that.

Not true I drive a 2018 double cab with an 8’ box. They still offer them in 2021.

They are rare birds but available. You see most of them in SR trim with vinyl seats in white, aka work truck package.

I don't hate it, but I so prefer the simple design of my first generation Tundra, and the V8 that powers it.

Toyota’s website must be wrong then. Since you can’t configure a 2021 Tundra with an 8’ bed.

The online configurator tool changes over time based on current production. Earlier this year they had them in a few colors.

DCLB are only available up to SR5 trim so you won’t get the DCLB option in upper trims.

ETA: I had to get a dealer to locate one and get it allocated to them back in 2018, then they were able to spec the colors and options before it went into production.

That's pretty cool and I'm a Ford guy. Kind of like the Ohio dealership that does the retro Fords. I'd take one without the rack.

When did it become an arms race to have the absolute largest grill you can fit in any vehicle?

And narrowest, tiny, ugliest little head lights.

I mean the grilles have gotten to the point where there's no front of the vehicle at all. It just...ends. Like someone chopped the rest of the front off.

The new Tahoe is the same way.

I'll be glad when this trend (inevitably) reverses itself.

We went from the 90s and "barely there" grilles to the current monstrosity. The truth is somewhere in between.

I would be embarrassed to drive this.

The grill is too large for the truck. It's really ugly.

I didn't think you could top the current GMC. But Toyota did it.

I know the Silverado is the same truck but...i dunno it's better somehow.

The F150 shows the most restraint.

Toyota/lexus makes ugly vehicles. Period. I own one of them.

Trucks are becoming parodies of themselves at this point.
