Fewer criminals means fewer shootings. The “get guns off the streets” genie got out of the bottle a long time ago.

I have seen too many examples of a people not being able to have weapons go terribly bad for the people of a country. For example:

Venezuela
Nicaragua (where my family is from)
Cuba
China
Australia
North Korea

What’s interesting is supply seems to be much higher than at this point last year. I’m still seeing full shelves and plenty of online inventory. Last year was absurd. It felt like everything was sold out and all the inventory lasted before it was sold out again.

Same with ammo. Prices are much lower and availability much higher than last year.

Saying that we are better off with fewer gun owners is not the same as advocating for a gun ban.

It is possible to respect someone’s 2A rights yet also believe that this country has an unhealthy stockpile of firearms.

Try buying ammo....I'm trying to buy a few cases of shotgun shells and cant find what I'm looking for anywhere.

I have a friend that is a gun broker and he just texted me this morning and found some...we're gonna buy 10 cases

So you have the ability to determine the healthy amount of firearms in America? Please, share your wisdom with the rest of us.

I got that new 30 caliber carbine FULLY semi-automatic, with the banana clip capable of shooting 50 bullets per second.

Nice. I got the same, just the Ghost Gun model.

From my point of view, that number is at least three fewer than what it is. But y’know, opinions, assholes.

Just like we should take away glasses because they are an inanimate object (like a firearm) but placed in the wrong hands somebody now seeing better could get behind the wheel of a vehicle another inanimate object (like a firearm), speed (should ban all vehicles now), run a red light (probably some argument for the red light being racist), and killing a family of three...a father, mother, and young son legally entering the intersection. Oh, the mother was pregnant, so thank goodness using the loons' logic it doesn't make it a family of four.

I will never ever understand "ban the guns" argument.

Nobody.

But why do so many people feel the need to advocate for every man, woman and child to be armed? This includes every crazy ex, every sociopath, every bipolar, mentally unstable, roid-raging buffoon in the country? Is it so crazy to say that maybe, just maybe we’d be better off without telling everyone that they need to arm up?
