Meh, not so sure about that. R8, Merci, Carrera GT, Ford GT, Elise are all completely different.
I do get your premise though, I'm not exactly faulting Corvette here.

That interior is just bad arse. I love the row of buttons and the driver focused cockpit. And the quality of materials and the amount of surfaces they cover looks great.
Can't wait to see one in person. If all goes well, I'm going to get one when I pay off my current ride in 2022.
There's so much traffic on their website where you can spec out your own car that the page is mostly FUBAR.
I have zero problem with it kinda looking like the F430. Those are gorgeous cars.

Some on RL have claimed to put in an order for a C8. Most acknowledge that the C8 is a game changer (or at least a potential game changer), but prefer their Porsche.
Overall, it looks like they’ve taken notice.

I like it. You get a reliable Ferrari fighter, with 2.9 0-60 times, mid engine 490 horsepower for $59,000? That's less than a loaded Silverado. Seems like Gen Xers hitting the mid life are going to be all over it.
