He used to be an occasional guest on the Dan LeBatard radio show. He asked them to stop calling him because of several deaths of other occasional guests (Alan Thicke was one). He was afraid he would be the next to die.

Wow. He was actually in a lot of stuff.

I remember him from Oceans Thirteen as well.

I like how he would just call Allison and leave random voicemails. The Lebatard curse lives on

I don’t listen that often and Thicke was the only one I can remember. Who were the others?

I have been a fan since he was on Letterman in the early 80s as Super Dave. And The Funkhouser character was consistently hilarious. He will be missed.

RIP.

I remember my brother and I fine tuning our TV to catch Showtime, before they started scrambling it at the source. One time, while wondering if we'd tuned the right channel in the right direction, the fuzz sharpened and there he was. Super Dave Osbourne. And some titties. And we knew we'd stuck it to the man.

God bless you, beautiful soul.

Wow was listening to Dan Lebatard the other day. Super D told them he wasn’t going to call in anymore because of the death curse Dan was putting on his guests.... crazy
