Early indications are that this hurricane season will be as active as last year's with up to 4-5 major hurricanes and 2-4 US impacts.

We here in south Louisiana are due for a significant impact hurricane, as it's been over a decade since the last major hit Louisiana. 2008 was the last significant impact in SELA when a strong category 2 Hurricane Gustav roared ashore with 110 mph sustained winds. We had a weak category 1 in 2012 that resulted in significant backwater flooding in SELA. Don't wait, start stocking up on supplies now.

Start buying your supplies a few at a time now so you'll be prepared next time warnings are issued for our area.

I was born in the rain on the Pontchartrain, underneath the Louisiana moon
I don’t mind the strain of a hurricane, they come around every June

And the Roulette wheel is due to land on red because it has landed on black 10 times in a row, right?
