[/URL] I'm a bit of a land cruiser freak. Not a brag, I just love my cruisers and like to share with people who like them as well.

I think you get a dozen free with every one week rental at Rosemary Beach.
Silly me. I thought they were as elusive as an OB coozie.

Wife has a 200, I'm thinking about getting a 60/62 for myself. You seem to be a pro at these, will I enjoy driving it with the original I-6? Part of me wants to get one and put a sleeper V-8 in it.

That 80 looks pimp.

Get a 60 if you like to drive a stick. It has a 2F motor. They only made the 62 for a couple of years. It had a 3F motor and that auto tranny that was strong, but robbed it of power. Not that any of these trucks were ever fast. They only go up to 4000 rpms. They are tractor, hence why they never break.
Im a purest and wouldn't throw a 350 in one. If you ever buy one and keep it stock, it will only increase in value.

How much for the red FJ?
Seriously, nice collection dude.

Thanks for the insight. Another question, on the 100 series, would the 5 speed (03-07) be a must for you? That seems to be the consensus on LC forums but I'm not crazy about having the integrated Nav system that comes with those models. MPG is not a big concern for me.

Thanks. This one I have, has a safari turbo in it, that was made for 80 series and Toyota approves.
It's too fast, though. It over steers if you punch it.

Agree. Do that to an old Jeep CJ, not a Land Cruiser.

Thanks. She is gone now. I sold it to a friend.

Not sure. I just collect the old ones.
ih8mud.com can answer your questions.

And my old rust bucket bj-40. Straight 4 cylinder naturally aspirated diesel. She may do 55 mph and blows smoke, but she won't quit, lol.
Yes, I'm a cruiser freak

Those all look awesome thanks for sharing
Are they expensive to get into? I've always wanted something like that as a project

Let me know if you ever need help finding a 60 or an old cruiser, and if you would like me to check it out/ask questions to the seller.
I know there is a 60 in Lafayette for only like $5k with 140k miles. I don't know them personally. But, it sounds like a good deal. Its white and probably needs $1k in work.

Who the frick buys a Toyota for 80k+?
My neighbor bought his wife a 70K Escalade about 2 months ago, and it's been in the shop 4 or 5 times already. One of the problems is the transmission.
Yayyyyyyyyy Escalade...............keep doing what you're doing. All Bling and no substance.
Neighbor has basically been in a rental most of the summer (in addition to the car note).
My 100-series Landcruiser with 273k miles just keeps purring along. Don't care about climbing mountains. I buy reliability.
