let the car drive when you're drunk, sue Hyundai if it causes any accident.

Supposedly your chances of surviving an accident are better when you're drunk because you flop around more.

You might be on to something.

But what about the minivan with the happy family inside that you plow into?

That car company has come a long way over the past 10 - 15 years.

What about the small towns that rely on traffic ticket money?

How are they going to survive when all of these computer driven cars are rampantly obeying the law?

Has anybody thought about them?

There was a time, not that long ago, perhaps the early 1990s - when I would have blanched at the suggestion we would let robots drive human beings all over our public roads.

However, after witnessing the complete collapse of driving ability in this great country - but even worse, a sort of arrogant, aggressive apathy (and I know, that doesn't make any sense) about this collapse of ability, with all of the distractions in the cockpit, the smart phones, impaired drivers, distracted drivers, on and on, I now welcome the day where I can share the road with competent, robot drivers that, G-d bless them, at least they're trying to drive.

And that's the memo...

Yeah.. F them. Raise taxes to pay for the town, not frivolous fines.

I knew a dude up north who drove a 2013 Genesis and that shite was actually surprisingly nice... Problem is, they don't have any of the 'mid-tier' vehicles worth a shite. They've got the Genesis... and the Elantra

The turn around is really quite astonishing. I've done a double take several times looking at Hyundai on the road.

Most experts rank the Sonata with Camries and Accord...... I drove one its a damn nice nice car. I drove an Elantra as a rental it was a nice car for an entry level vehicle.

Hyundai also makes a model called an Azera. Its between the Genesis and Sonata. Also very nice..... on the level of an Avalon
