Why don't these boats have emergency auto deployed systems like SUVs do now? My Sequoia would auto deploy side bags if vehicle hit 45° angle(could obviously turn this off if off-roading or parking in a ditch). Seems like they would need big parachute like dragsters have and inflatable cockpit thingy to protect them at that speed. But these are not Airforce pilots here. These are God damned retards. Answered my own question.

Here's video of a nearly deadly crash at this year's Lake of the Ozarks Shootout which I happened to be at. I saw this crash occur from about a quarter mile away:

Would be awesome to snag 3 wahoos at that speed and then head home for the beer and fish fry.

Boom, bang, done. Let's head for the ramp.

Spirit of Qatar has chutes that auto deploy when the hull angle reaches a certain degree. Good system.
come along for a 244mph ride

Boats in sanctioned races have safety pods now.

Those hillbilly races in rural Missouri are dangerous as you can see.

The Spirit of Qatar holds the record of 244 miles/hour at Lake of the Ozarks Shootout. Here is video of their run:

Exactly what I was thinking. Would be foolish not to have these systems mandatory on sanctioned events.

LOL are you serious? BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT MASS-PRODUCED. All of these boats are custom. It'd be like if you welded together your own car. It wouldn't have to have auto-deploying safety systems to be street legal.

Spirit of Qatar's 244 mile/hour run took place at Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. They actually did 210 with the shoots deployed the entire time. Think about that!

that's not what he was saying. Lake Ozark shootout is an unsanctioned race. Any boat can run it.

To run a sanctioned race there are safety measures.

I highly recommend you baws visit Lake of the Ozarks during the Shootout sometime in the future. It'll blow your mind (and your cock).

Don't believe me? Just google "Lake of the Ozarks Party Cove Women"

I, more than anyone else here, already know that. LOL

So?

You don't see what he's doing. LOL. Regardless, the same boats that run sanctioned races also run unsanctioned races. And who cares if it's sanctioned or not? The Shootout is considered a Top 8 boat race in the entire country. Fact. No debate.

Lots of this in rural Missouri during cute little boat races.
