No, I'm saying that those circumstances that I quoted would lead you to believe that this was something more than a simple "breaking in to steal something" incident.

The circumstances quoted are nothing more than saying two people are dead and one isn’t. There are literally no more details.

I get your point. I guess we'll just let things unfold.

We’ve got people going back and forth on the LPSO Facebook page saying they know the people. One says it’s a domestic issue and one says it’s not. Definitely don’t think it was random.

Crime scene cleaners have already been called and are just starting the cleanup so i guess the police got all the evidence they needed already.

Someone on fb said "Just in......might be custody related. Intruder was in a ski mask, parked down the street. Approached the home, homeowner and intruder fired shots. Homeowner and intruder are dead."

Don't know if that is true or not though.

Several lots in the Reserve at River Ridge subdivision are still for sale, advertised by real estate signs. Only two of the three houses appeared occupied.

What does this have to do with two (alleged) LP meth-heads (or were they dindus?) getting whacked?

Not so sure. Sounds to me like the residents might have got got. Waiting on details. Hoping it was the bad guys though.

The homeowner and intruder were both killed. Wife survived.

Hate rumors, but word is they think the “invader” may have been a hitman.

ETA: homeowner that was killed was a genuinely good guy. Known him a longtime. Very sad.

Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason released the following statement Sunday afternoon:

"This case is taking some interesting turns & we are continuing to simply follow the evidence. I ask for your patience as we do what you rely on us to do - investigate & solve crimes in our parish," he said. "To do that, I must allow our detectives time and I must protect the integrity of this and every LPSO case. I am going to wait until all the facts are in before I share what happened at that home in the 9000 block of Ridgeway Avenue this morning."

Well, he's going to need to restart because he sure as hell isn't getting a silent assassin rating on this level.

Lots alone in the neighborhood are 160k, not likely for homeowner to be meth head or dindu.

Custody battle, hitman, and no news from Sheriff makes this very interesting.

Yea, when my SO told me who it was, I couldn’t believe. If you know the guy, you know that this was a good man. It truly is a horrible situation.
