Try to find the Big Foot up there while you're at it.

Which HS was supposed to have the ghost you could see driving past at night? It's been too long. Wossman? Swartz?

It used to be Ouachita High School. I believe it is now Ouachita Jr. High.

hit the zoo if it still exists.
Mom took my daughter last year.

Afterwards, Mom asked her how she liked it. The reply was, “I think we should report them to PETA.”

it's the dead cheerleader's twin sister, get it right.

And she's still there every night.

I've scared the absolute frick out of a few out-of-town friends with that one.

The key is in the setup. You have to talk the story up for a couple days before the drive by.

Let me see if I can get you a list from this century:

Fun things for kids:
Surge
Chennault Military Museum
Biedenharn Museum - lots of cool Coca-cola stuff.
Black Bayou Refuge
Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo
Poverty Point
Wild Country Safari Park
Antique Alley has tons of cool shops
Duck Commander just has the building with the sign on it. Not sure they even have tours anymore.

To Eat:
Parish - this would be my recommendation for adults
Doe's Eat Place
Warehouse
Cotton
Trapps
Alex's Latin Cafe
(plenty of other places)

Edit to add:
Flying Tiger Brewery
Flying Heart Brewery
(just realized both of the brewerys are "Flying")

Agree with TigerDeacon’s list . . . I would also add that you should check the events at The Ike Hamilton Expo Center as they often have kid-friendly events and are booked just about every weekend.

I would also add Waterfront Grill to the list of places to eat.

What's the story or is there somewhere I can read up on this? I'd love to add this story to my ghost story repertoire.

If by any chance you like central texas style bbq there’s a place in Ruston called bad wolf bbq. It’s a food truck in the downtown area. It is some of the best brisket you will find anywhere. On a side note, this time of year the female workers are usually only wearing sports bras.
