BATON ROUGE — Two Baton Rouge rappers were arrested by federal agents this week in connection with a shooting in Texas that happened earlier this year.

WBRZ learned from the FBI that six people were arrested Thursday morning in Texas and Louisiana.

TMZ reports that two of these people were rappers Ben10 and OG3 Three, both of whom are associated with Baton Rouge rapper NBA Youngboy. Ben10, whose real name is 26-year-old Ben Fields, was booked into the Iberville Parish Jail on Thursday. He was booked on a detainer from the FBI.

TMZ also notes that the arrests are connected to an April shooting that happened at Confessions, a restaurant in Houston. The outlet reports that Allstar JR was already arrested in the shooting of Ben10.

WBRZ previously reported that Fields was one of two people shot at during the altercation at Confessions. In May, Ben10 was shot along Wells Street in Baton Rouge.

WBRZ has asked authorities to independently confirm the arrests and what charges each man faces, as well as the identities of the other four people arrested in connection with the incident.

You can take the teen out of the ghetto (and pay him lots of money for music or sports), but you can't take the ghetto out of the teen.

Is the bar for “rapper” as high as the one for “influencer”?

Being a Rapper gotta be high up on the list of the most dangerous professions.
