I'm not the weather man but this just came across:

KLFY-TV 10 Meteorologist Chris Cozart shared this bit of good news or promising news on social media and it shows much cooler temperatures in Louisiana.

Yes, a strong cold front could be pushing into the deep south and it's arrival isn't far from now.

As a matter of fact, the weather model predicts that this cold front will arrive in the deep south sometime during the second week of October.

I’ve spent about a tenth of the past year in the UK enjoying cooler but not extreme weather there.

There’s something to be said for knowing you’ll never have swampass for five months straight.

And when it does rain there, generally it’s not our monsoon-like deluge.

The older I get, the more I like any weather other than our subtropical summers.

Someone should start a Cold Front Fest in October in South Louisiana and watch every year that it is planned a cold front is nowhere to be seen. We will get one in early September, but none around the festival.

What about that 35% rain forecast? I’ll take the cooler weather, but we need some serious rain over here in the NW LP.

Did you spend a winter here? Jan through March pretty much never goes outside of 35-45F…although I agree I’d take that now over 95+ every day in summer

It looks real for my part of the world, first one of the season here too.

Wont be the same system for us and yall, but I do want to note the Euro is also seeing this cold front for the south.
