Gf and I did a weekend gig in Dallas last week for right around a grand. Stayed two nights downtown Dallas, went to 3 museums, saw the mavs playoff game, went see the bassmaster classic setup and stockyard at Fort Worth, and tried a handful of BBQ spots. Not a bad weekend get away at all

Buy a small tent, Catch a bus to New Orleans and camp with the transients under one of those bridges. If they like you, they will let you panhandle with them. Once they get to know you, they have some interesting stories. If you have a good cardboard sign and the right corner, you might clear enough to stay with them for a year or two. Who knows, you might meet a swell lady and change your life.

If someone gave me $1k and told me to go on vacation, I would go to the casino, put it on black, if it hits, then I can expand my options a little bit, if not I will go vacation at home.

Me and Dad are going to Biloxi next Sunday. Plenty of casinos to throw away money

Woodlands resort is nice.
Just came back. If you golf a good spot. Great place to stay.

I would rent a cabin at Lake Fausse Point state park or Chicot state park me. Fish every day, grill prime ribeyes and sip on top shelf bourbon.

Narrowed it down to Houston and Dallas. Likely htown. Found some cheap hotels for 80/night.
