I've loved the 63 impala 2 door since the first time I saw one.

In seafoam green with a white top.

100% agree.

A friend of mine has a 63 with a full cage, coil overs, tsw wheels, and a supercharged 6.2.

Gives mid 20s mpg when headed to the track, and at 3100lbs and 650hp, it is shockingly fast.

I wish I had pictures from my high school parking lot to post. Graduated in 1979. The cars in that lot would now be worth $$$$$$$.

Me too but there were some beaters in there too.

Thinking about some of the shite rides at my High School-

‘74-ish Honda CVCC
‘70 Newport 4 Door
A bunch of VW Beetles
‘75 Dodge Colt Wagon
‘74 Mercury vomit (Comet) 4 Door
‘73 Chevy Nova 4 Door

I could go on.

Only keepers I recall-

A K-5 Blazer
Several ‘69 through ‘77 GM midsize (Monte Carlo, Cutlass, Grand Prix, etc.)
‘53 Chevy stock
A bunch of late ‘60s to mid ‘70s pickups

Lots of early 70’s Chevelles and Cutlass and that type of car in ours. I had a 1970 Plymouth Duster. Wish I still had that car.

Rough ride, not much speed, gas tank filler under the front seat cushion but fun to drive. Ours was made by Ford, not Willys and has USMC lettering.

I'm partial to the old Mopars, Superbird, Chargers, Roadrunners and a bunch more but this is the best looking Mopar ever built to me (in this color specifically)

Since this has turned into a broader discussion. The Yenko, Nickey, and Baldwin Motion cars are the hot chevys. I like the Yenko cars myself.

As such

Of the three I'd take the Camaro.

Baldwin Motion corvette...pure chevy thunder...

It's too bad this car didn't make it into production. The cheetah. It's a chevy/powered by a small block chevy and fitted with chevy parts, has a Muncie 4 speed and a corvette independent rear.

This would be cool to have because they are extremely rare. There is a certain sixties toon like coolness that I love...

Bill Thomas was a legend, I'm not into kit cars but I'd build a Cheetah over a Cobra any day.

They raced in a different class than the Cobras so they didn't race head to head, but they were faster and turned better times than the Cobras on the same track.

We had a lot of Chevelle’s, Novas, Mustangs, Z28 and GTO’s along with the usual Vega’s, Corvairs, Kerman Ghia a couple Sunbeams, MG’s and Triumphs.

A lot of pickup trucks and most had gun racks with guns in the rear window. I drove one like this and I still have it.
