My father had a classic classic car restoration business so I've driven almost every collectible classic. As a middle schooler in the '80s my father briefly owned a '68 GT500 convertible. Beautiful machine, performance was lacking compared to GM and MOPAR of the day but otherwise great car.

I bought a Porsche from a guy in Baton Rouge that had one in his shop. The car had cought on fire and looked like a total loss, but he said he paid 100k for it in that condition.

I had a 1970 SS454, 450 HP. Beautiful car, so I'm biased.
