Per Anon, a long time customer was told today that he can no longer buy cigs with his EBT card at Ali's store. Is that possibly how Ali was bringing in so much money? Letting all the welfare people use EBT cards for things like cigs and beer?

ATF involved now too?

It was really, really hard like two or three years ago (not sure what it's like now).

My buddy was former enlisted Army SF, infantry officer with several deployments, top secret clearance, very bright, fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, and still had loads of trouble both getting in and, once in, had to wait more than a year for his training and assignment.

I watched WMCTV online tonight.

Seriously, Memphis must have the most depressing news.

This is their lineup: Background info on Mississppi girl burned to death, woman charged with criminal exposure to HIV, 6 year old shoots a 4 year old, two shot in robery, and IKEA comes to Memphis.

I know most EBT owners in BR sell their cards for 40 to 50 dollars less than the full value to get the cash.

If Ali did do that... The paper trail would be easy to follow and prove this IMO

Nothing new. Short interviews with the sister and the store owner.

Of course the police could know much more than we assume and as others have suggested, they might be doing the right thing and letting the evidence build up while they make the case.

This. Just like in the Schunick case. They knew it was him 100% for 2 weeks before they made the arrest. I find it hard to believe they don't have any solid leads with it being such a small town. My guess is that unless a cop leaks info, nobody will hear a thing until an arrest is made.

I don't think Ali will be arrested, bc he was at the store working during the crime. I just think he knows more than what he has let everyone to believe. I think he knows the killer.

Are the Feds there to solve this crime or to bust up gangs (if they exist) as theorized on some of those websites?

Solving this crime MAY shed light on these other potential crimes. If so, they can't be ignored.

I'm with iluv. I don't think Ali had anything to do with this murder but I think he knows who did. I also think he's up to some shady stuff.

So there is 53 seconds of surveillance video missing from the time she was there and he can't explain it?

That's some fishy shite right there.

FBI will be able to get to the bottom of it. They can charge him with tampering with evidence correct?
