damn!!

can we tell anything from the car seat positioning? Doesn’t seem to be in a position for driving but possible with the fire it’s not it’s original positioning. The passenger seat also appears to be out of a typical driving position (both laid back?). Last, why would there be tree branches in the vehicle? Someone planting them hoping to assist the fire or just potential fallout/dropping from being right next to trees (latter seems unlikely but the unburned greenery on the left is odd given the state of the rest of the car.

My Ford pickup caught fire a few years ago while I was sleeping due to a faulty cruise control switch. That's exactly what it looked like

If she was being chased why would she try to turn into that driveway when the highway and gas station were only 2 minutes further? If you go back the way she came the closest house (34°13’41.26?N ; 89°58’12.90?W) seems to be about 1.2 miles or 20 minutes of travel at regular speed. There is a side road about half way between the house and 2352 Herron at 34°13’57.64?N : 89°57’45.81?W. What if someone was waiting at the side road, she recognized them and started a sprint to the highway and gas station? If her nose and throat were burned could she talk? What else sounds like Derrick. Car wreck? In that area do they call auto accidents car wrecks and what are the usually assumptions when someone says car wreck as opposed to hit a tree or lost control? Did the EMT ask “who did this?” Was the driver door found shut or open, did the EMT immediately suspect foul play? Or did he just ask “what happened”?
Someone made the point that it may have been a car wreck... Doesn't really explain the location of the cell phone and the battery being removed

Champion: We're talking to a lot of people. There's not a lot of "street talk" about it and it's making it more difficult to investigate

Darby clarified that they've been unable to confirm forensically if accelerant was actually poured on Jessica.

Neither Champion nor Darby are saying much specific about what sort of evidence has been gathered.

Champion won't divulge much about the condition of Jessica's phone, other than to say it's a "usable piece of evidence."

one of those articles posted says the car had to up against the tree that was burnt. Having witnessed a car fire up close, I'd have to disagree. The quickness that it spread, and the heat involved was unreal. Damn near everything in a car these days are made of plastic.

has MrLarson followed up his previous opinions with anything more about possible motives?

So basically this could just be bad car accident then?

They just stated that they believe it was not an accident and that a crime was committed.

e only evidence that points to the contrary is the lighter fluid in her mouth and down her throat.
That and the fact that her cell phone was found in the area with the battery removed

I would find that jailed persons accomplice who committed the last crime and is out free right now and talk to her for sure.

I thought this was one of the things that came out with all of that first bit of information, much of which has turned out to be false.
Was this part every confirmed?
The best of the BS was when someone posted that she was driving in a car maked at a police car and black guys did this to get back for Ferguson.
I think he deleted that part, but I saw it on here and another site.

Not sure if this adds anything to the convo at all, but actually just talked to my step-sister who was friends with her.
Apparently the girl is big into meth?
Not trying to spread around rumors, that is just what she told me.

As much as I agree with them faith-wise, it doesn't inspire investigative confidence

Saw on the news this morning that the family has said that some of the fundraising campaigns are scams and not to donate.
There is a special place in hell for those people as well.

Same thing to a friend of mine's Ford Expedition. It's shocking how big and hot car fires can be, especially if they start under the hood. All of the plastic parts melt away quickly, so most of the interior, bumper covers, etc look striped away when it's done. There won't be much left to personal belongings in the car in a fire like that.
I could easily see how nearby trees could be charred.

What do the first 2 sentences have to do with #3? About as much as:
The United States is a democracy. We are a free country. Apples are red.

That would not shock me. Of course, you will hear the arguement from the "Christian" citizens of the county that she was a sweet girl, just trying to get her life straightened out.
