The town I live in passed a law in 1982 that all head of households must own a firearm. There have been two or three murders since, including a 25-year stretch without one at all.

I dont think the law has much to do with not having murders in kennesaw.

How many murders does alpharetta and other similar areas have during this time?

I guess giving the citizenry their "space" to loot and riot hasn't been working.

The amount of murders in NOLA is alarming especially since their entire economy is built around tourism. Mitch needs to come up with a better plan instead of holding fund raisers for Hillary.

how many of those murders were people that mattered?
you're kind of right, but even one that 'matters' is enough...and there were plenty that 'matter'

I think we've been averaging 250-300/year for quite some time now IIRC.

Since this board likes to bring race into everything I have a question for y'all.

Charlotte has 60,000 more black people than New Orleans but has about 110 less black homicide victims on average every year. What is your theory behind this? Better black community? Better policing?

The BR number will be higher for 2016 because the closest charity hospital ER is at the Lake on Essen. Lot of "victims" going to die in-transit.
