I read the article and am still confused. So, they don't like the feds or police because of some arson event? If someone can explain in a dumb down version for me I'd appreciate it.

Yeah, we would call for an all out bombing of our own country

The Bundy family of Nevada joined with hard-core militiamen Saturday to take over the headquarters of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, vowing to occupy the remote federal outpost 50 miles southeast of Burns for years.
The occupation came shortly after an estimated 300 marchers — militia and local citizens both — paraded through Burns to protest the prosecution of two Harney County ranchers, Dwight Hammond Jr. and Steven Hammond, who are to report to prison on Monday.
Ammon Bundy met with Dwight Hammond and his wife in November, seeking a way to keep the elderly rancher from having to surrender for prison. The Hammonds professed through their attorneys that they had no interest in ignoring the order to report for prison.
Ammon Bundy said the goal is to turn over federal land to local ranchers, loggers and miners. He said he met with 10 or so residents in Burns on Friday to try to recruit them, but they declined.

I mean let's be real if the Government wants to fight them instead of arrest them there will be no injuries on one side and a a bunch of dead morons on the other.

The real shame would be is if they do get killed, they'll go out thinking they're martyrs when really they'd be dying for something real frickin dumb

So a bunch of honkeys are in a ranger station in the woods that wasn't even occupied?

A lot of Muslims and Afro-Americans are upset on social media about the reaction being different when a bunch of white people with guns do something.

What are they gonna do? Shoot some trees?
Posted on 1/3/16 at 2:24 am to fr33manator
If they're federally protected, then they should refrain from doing so.

They're going to play hide and seek and tummysticks.

I'd imagine the firing of a gun in a federally protected reserve is against the law all by itself.
Posted on 1/3/16 at 2:37 am to RummelTiger
Still, this is less of a threat than shutting down a major airport or highway.

All over the lawful prosecution and convection of a pair of poachers who burned federal land to cover their tracks. Worst part is, if the Feds do show up these assholes will martyr themselves for some idiotic cause that doesn't even fricking exist.

can you imagine the response if a group of "dindus' as they call them here took over a federal building like this. This place would be calling for an all out bombing. And every one of you know I am right. Bookmarked for later linking
If they pull same antics of Ferguson/Baltimore the media will crucify them way more. I'll set the over/under for businesses set ablaze at 1. Place your bet.

Protestors? Don't these people have jobs like the rest of us? How can they protest?
They own lots of land. Well... They did before the government took it.
Posted on 1/3/16 at 8:26 am to ihometiger
so, one of their home boys got convicted for setting a fire and these guys are protesting that?
there has to be more to the story than that...
