I had a broad hit me 2 times and I told her if she did it again I was going to hit her back.

A month later at the movies in North Carolina she clips me when I wasn’t looking and the back of my head hit the wall.

I know for a fact she didn’t hit another dude for at least 2 years before I left.

I have zero problem returning a punch with interest. He looked like he finally had enough of her shite. I’d have decked her long before then in his shoes.

Sure we do... In fact, male teachers are always given the worst duty spots because we are expected to be bouncers. At 46 and after a hernia operation, I finally had to tell my principal that I won't be doing that shite anymore.

If she didn't know, now she knows.

Lil Jasmine Crockett learned a valuable lesson.

Sidenote: his daddy needs to do the same thing to him for wearing his pants like that.

I like to think about the bigger meaning of social concepts.

By my ken, "don't hit a woman" really boils down more into "outside of war, don't take an unsporting advantage against a weaker opponent."

It's why there are weight classes in martial sports, why men don't play with women, etc. it recognizes a reality and accepts it. Women are the weaker sex.

Then that's distilled into "don't hit women".

But it should come with caveats. It doesn't mean "never hit a female." In truth it should communicate. "Show ample restraint, try to de-escalate, but if she's bound and determined to fight a man...teach her a man's lesson. But then let it be done. Don't continue to crush her when you've already won."

This young man exemplified the situation to a tee.

He should use the same line as the track chick who clearly hit the other girl with the baton.

"It just looks like I slammed her head on the desk, knocking her out. I'm not a confrontational person, not a fighter. Whatever you think you saw didn't happen."

How is the boy being charged with anything? Is he not allowed to stop the threat against him?

Maybe he identified as a female. At that point, it’s completely legit.

I believe he is being charged with having his pants hang down almost to his knees in the wrong decade

I thought it was an extra charge to assault someone with glasses since the glasses could shatter and blind them. Or did I dream that?

She hurled a laptop at his head. That could have caused him serious injury. Didn't see the metal bottle throw, but he was justified after the laptop was thrown IMO.

interesting thread from the political center (Helen Pluckrose) this last week.

TL;DR academic lady lays out how ridiculously stronger men are than women.

one of our close friends made a comment about how she could still take her son (16 yo) when they were playful. we all laughed and said "he's letting you." she said no and asked him and he said "mom, i've been letting you win for 5 years."

a few days later she said "i tried to take him down last night and he pinned me in 5 seconds. it was humiliating."

You clearly haven’t been immersed in much tv or pop culture. Women are always shown as stronger, smarter, problem solvers while men are portrayed as weak and dim more often than not. Thankfully, the women are usually there to help men pick up the pieces.
