Is murder not a violent crime. Almost all the inmates there are there for murder.
Murder during the commission of another crime such as rape, armed robbery, against a police officer, child, multiple victims, and more.
Simply killing someone doesn't guarantee you will land at Angola.

frick them, their social skills and their rocking chairs. I don’t need anything from a convict.

She can't consent legally, yes
I think what he means is that it is possible that the prisoner did not drag her in the bathroom and forcibly rape her
This is what I was trying to get at. Of course a 13 year old isn't mature enough to make this type of decision and the prisoner took advantage either way.

You said it’s possible she wasn’t forcibly raped and that my “she can’t consent” post was limited to the legal definition of consent.
Coercing a 13 year old into sex is still rape. He doesn’t have to be holding her down.

How many years did you do at Angola?
I did some community service washing patrol cars.

It’s still rape though. It doesn’t matter how it happened.

I think field trips go.
Generally only trustees are allowed any freedom to move around and then only in confined areas.
It's actually a neat event.

A 13 year old can’t consent dude.
Exactly. That's why them saying "she admitted to having sex" is so fricked up. A 13 year old child being raped by an adult is not "having sex" and does not have to "admit" to jack shite.
I wonder if this reporter were doing a story on a carjacking they'd describe it as "the car owner admitted to giving their car to the perp"?

No way, SFP is always going on and on about how everyone is getting raped.

You think a 13 year old is capable of consenting to sex in a bathroom with a random inmate at a prison rodeo?
I rag on Salmon constantly, and no where did he even imply what you're asking him.

I need them to possibly perform in society one day.

Darth weren’t you raped as a kid? You are def qualified to speak on this subject.

Yes.

I agree. I never implied anything different.
Simply stating that coercing her into the bathroom and raping her through coercion is different than abducting her and forcibly raping her.
It is still very much rape. But the former seems to be what happened, thus the wording from the article.
Just trying to clear up confusion, that's all.

I said she can’t consent.
He said yes she can’t legally consent and that it’s possible this wasn’t a forcible rape. It’s not a far jump to see he meant she could’ve said yes when the guy persuaded her into having sex with him.
I’m not saying he meant the consent was valid, but it’s clear to see where he was going with it. And it doesn’t change a thing. She was raped. The method doesn’t matter.

Gee, I thought life sentences were just as good as the death penalty and sufficient enough to obviate their necessity.

I’m not saying you implied anything different. Just sounded like the both of you were saying how he raped her mattered.

Not mattered, just clarifying for those that were confused about how the article was worded.
