Yeah, well...even DNA can be planted. Conviction does not always = guilt.

How am I digging? I said consent, he clarified legal consent. What else does that distinction mean?

Yes, I did.

She might have been coerced into giving consent, but that is still giving consent. Which gives a clearer picture of how this might have happened. It is an important detail in the story.

Does it make it not rape? Absolutely not.

There is a lot of virtue signaling in this thread.

Holy shite. What the frick is wrong with you?!? You honestly think a 13 year old girl can be "complicit" in her own rape at the hands of a grown fricking man?!?

A 13 year old can certainly consent and engage in a sexual act willingly. That is a fact.

It is also true (and appropriate) that our legal system has deemed 13 year olds not emotionally mature enough to give legal consent to a sexual act and a crime is committed when an adult engages in a sexual act with a 13 year old.

The second statement doesn't make the first statement untrue.

You're going to get downvoted, but you are absolutely correct.

Angola Rodeo shouldn't happen anyway. You don't go to Prison to have fun.

It means the post you made asking him if he thought she could consent was fricking dumb. Get over it

she has the mental capacity with 14-16 year olds but not with a 24 year old?

Even if she willingly went in the bathroom and pulled down her pants and spread her legs it’s still rape.

Naw. I have to agree with Darth here...Not with a 13 year old.
The word "seduction" does not apply.

Whoever brought the 13 yr old to the prison and abandoned her at the bathroom should be charged also.

DOC better save some cash for the pending lawsuit.

Thanks Captain Obvious. Now find one post insinuating anything other than that.

Isn't it the last remaining prison rodeo? I know Texas and Oklahoma ended theirs.
