If you’re talking Nola for 89 the official accumulation was 0.08, assuming that’s melted precip. If you go by average of one inch of rain for every 13 inches of snow that means 1.04” of snow. I think this is more likely than 3 because it wasn’t that much snow that I recall. Enough for some snowballs and fun but not for a snowman

I remember. Wasn't it sort of a surprise? Like chances were low, then went way up late in the game?

I also remember it got up to 50 degrees that day and the snow was melted by early afternoon.

It was my birthday my junior year of high school. Did tons of day drinking and spent some quality time with my FWB. Great birthday.

That was a crazy day. We received heavy snow fall for a few hours in LC. I drove from LC home to Thibodaux then to New Orleans in that snow.
